Managing Director
Jamie Payne is a Managing Director and Head of Risk & Capital Solutions at Bank of Montreal in Toronto. The Risk & Capital Solutions team is responsible for the structuring, execution and placement of capital and risk transfer transactions for the bank and for third party clients. Jamie joined BMO in 2017.
Prior to joining BMO, Jamie held various roles with Deutsche Bank and Lehman Brothers in securitization structuring, whole loan trading, funding and bank solutions. Prior to joining banking, Jamie worked at KPMG in Vancouver and in the Cayman Islands.
Jamie holds a BCom (Hons) in Accounting from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from London Business School. He is a Chartered Accountant and CFA.
