Georgi Stoev is heading the team that structures and invests in central and northern European securitisation transactions. Apart from being responsible for EIF investments in funded and synthetic structures, his team is also advising the European Investment Bank for investments in securitization exposures in CEE, the Nordics, etc.
Georgi has been with the European Investment Fund since 2009 and over the last 12 months together with his team, he has been responsible for over EUR 2.6 billion of new in SME securitizations the majority of which have been executed in a synthetic manner. Georgi is an alumnus of the London Business School and holds an MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
